2) When We Share Data (and With Whom)
We do not sell your personal information. We share data with third parties only as needed to operate our Services, support you, comply with law, or with your consent.

Community or social tools (if offered): platforms that enable group interaction (only if you opt in).
If you explicitly engage with a Coach/trainer through SQUAD6OALS features (if available), we may share necessary identifiers (e.g., your email) to enable that engagement; you can manage such sharing in your account where applicable.

Additional disclosures may occur:

-
Professional advisers & insurers (risk/compliance);
-
Business transfers (merger/acquisition/financing);
-
Legal & safety (to comply with laws, protect rights, investigate fraud/security incidents).
We require service providers to handle data securely and only under our instructions. Where appropriate, we share data in aggregated or de-identified form.

3) Marketing & Personalization
-
Service communications: We send administrative emails/SMS (e.g., receipts, policy updates, service alerts). You can’t opt out of these essentials.
-
Marketing: With consent where required, we may send emails/SMS about new programming, features, or offers. You can opt out any time via the links in messages or in your account settings.
-
Personalization: If you allow it, we may use your name, email, and optional profile details (e.g., gender, birth month) to tailor recommendations and communications.
-
Analytics/ads (de-identified): We may share non-identifiable usage metrics with analytics/advertising platforms to measure performance and improve the Services.
Withdrawing consent won’t affect the lawfulness of prior processing.

4) Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to: provide the Services; maintain records; resolve disputes; enforce agreements; and comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax/accounting). Transaction and financial records are typically kept for up to 7 years. Backups are retained on a rolling, time-limited basis. When no longer needed, data is securely deleted or de-identified.

5) Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, object to or restrict processing, port data, and withdraw consent (where processing relies on consent). You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Deletion (“Right to Be Forgotten”)
You can request deletion of your personal information. We will honor requests unless we must retain certain data to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations, or to maintain the integrity of services purchased by other users (e.g., preserving de-identified plan structures without your identifiers).
Verification & response time: We may request information to verify your identity. We aim to respond within one month (complex/multiple requests may require more time; we’ll keep you updated). We typically do not charge a fee unless a request is manifestly unfounded, repetitive, or excessive.

6) Where We Store Your Data
We store data on secure servers provided by reputable hosting providers. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for limiting access to your devices and sessions. While transmission over the internet is not 100% secure, once we receive your data, we implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect it from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

7) International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. When we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards such as recognized adequacy decisions and/or standard contractual clauses (or comparable lawful mechanisms). For details, contact contact@squad6oals.com.

8) Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (e.g., encryption in transit where appropriate, access controls, logging/monitoring, firewalls) and restrict access to personal data to trained personnel and service providers who need it for legitimate business purposes and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
We maintain procedures to detect, investigate, and respond to suspected incidents. Where legally required, we will notify you and applicable regulators of a data breach.
